5 Ways to Claim Your Power & Rise into Your Higher Self

As a mindset coach, there’s nothing I love more than empowering other women to awaken their inner wisdom, heal stress & anxiety, and love themselves fully so that they can align with their soul’s purpose.

I see so many women dimming their lights and holding back in life.. so I wanted to write this post to help you claim your power and rise up into your higher self.

1. Speak up for yourself and let yourself be heard

I used to be really worried about what other people thought of me and a lot of times, it caused me to hold back from speaking up for myself. I think one of the most empowering things we can do is speak our truth, even when we feel scared or unsure.

If you have an opinion to share, speak it boldly.

If the waiter brings you the wrong meal, let them know and ask for them to change it.

If someone hurts you, speak up and let them know.

Your voice deserves to be heard and what you have to say is important! Don’t forget it, girl!

2. Be intentional with your energy and focus.

Not everything deserves your attention and I truly believe that what you focus on, expands.

If you’re constantly focusing on negativity, fear, and anxiety, you’re going to bring more of that in.

But if you focus on positivity, growth, and gratitude, you’ll bring more of that in too. As I’ve stepped more into my power, I’ve had to become way more intentional with creating boundaries.

This means removing people on social media, speaking up for myself and my needs, and saying “no” to things that I don’t want to do.

It can be hard to create boundaries because if you’re anything like me, you probably hate to hurt other people’s feelings. But boundaries are important because they honor your needs while communicating to others what your personal limits are. Those who love you and respect you, will most likely be happy to know of your boundaries and where you draw the line.

3. Invest your time, energy, and money into your personal growth.

If you truly want to claim your power, you need to take action! One of my favorite ways to take action is by investing my time, energy, and money into my personal growth. Here are some ideas:

  • Buy some new books on topics you’re interested on
  • Spend time practicing self care each day
  • Bring awareness to the people you surround yourself with
  • Take classes or courses in areas that could benefit your wellbeing
  • Buy products that support you and your wellness
  • Hire a coach or therapist (I offer 1:1 mindset coaching!)
  • Invest in healthy foods

4. Take action based on following your intuition.

As a very intuitive person, I love helping my clients tap into their intuition and trust themselves. To me, intuition is that little whisper, nudge, or feeling that comes from within. To practice strengthening your intuition, I recommend spending a lot of time practicing mindfulness and meditation.

Mindfulness and meditation encourage you to get quiet, look within, and ask yourself what it truly is you desire in your life. Following your intuition means taking action when something feels “right” at it’s core, even if you’re scared or unsure where it’s going to lead.

5. Follow what lights you up and prioritize fun, relaxation, and pleasure in life!

Claim your power by continuing to prioritize the things in your life that make you feel good! What healthy, nourishing activities are you craving today? Maybe it’s a walk outside in nature, a green juice, or quality time with friends. Whatever it is, let yourself be guided by your desires.

By following what lights me up and makes me happy, I’ve somehow ended up as a mindset coach. A few years ago I could have never predicted I’d be here doing this. But by taking it one step at a time, following my intuition, and doing what I love- I’ve made it here! And I’m so happy with where I’m at.
